The bear becomes the representative of planet Earth and tries its best to explain to the being the destruction that is happening. The bear has hope that this being can see what it means.

A well equipped little frog desperately trying to hold on to and open a bottle with a map inside. This idea came from a 30 Day word prompt challenge I participate in called “Inktober” - a word prompt a day, everyday in the month of October. The word was “Map”, so I came up with this drawing and turned it into a painting. It was on display at Northern Contemporary Gallery in 2024.

Humans have invaded a new planet, bringing their food, habits and destructive behavior with them. The locals have taken a liking to the concept of burger joints and diners. Outside are the remnants of a once colourful and lively planet. This bug being is still taking the time to enjoy a snack amidst the chaos.

I have seen things in my life that I can’t explain. Call them orbs, floating spheres or plain old UFOs, these objects have changed my perception of reality. This painting is a representation of all the people all over the world, having ‘sightings’ of things they can’t explain. It has created a rip in this reality where a Being is letting in these ‘orbs’ it has a TR-3B type UFO as its carrier.
